Tarkwa-Nsuaem MP Hon. Issah Salifu Taylor Champions Creative Arts; Supports Local Nominees and Tarkwa Fashion Week Organizers

Hon. Issah Salifu Taylor, Member of Parliament for Tarkwa-Nsuaem, has once again demonstrated his commitment to empowering the creative arts industry by making cash donations to a number of Tarkwa-based creatives nominated in the Western Music Awards, as well as to the organizers of Tarkwa Fashion Week.

The beneficiaries of his support include musicians Kyn Citi, Black Metal, Pasi, Fiifi Lattex, Rhespect, DJ Kenya, and WaiBe YB (Media Personality), who are nominees for the 9th Edition of the Western Music Awards slated for 27th December at the Goldfields Junior Club House, along with the dedicated team behind Tarkwa Fashion Week. Each recipient expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, describing it as motivational and instrumental in pushing their work to higher levels.

Hon. Taylor emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among creatives, stressing that growth comes when the community supports one another. He reaffirmed his pledge to continue championing the creative sector, recognizing its power to shape positive narratives, inspire young people, and uplift the municipality.

In his address, the MP also encouraged artists and media personalities to use their platforms creatively to deliver strong, impactful messages to the people of Tarkwa-Nsuaem. He hinted at a sanitation-focused project and campaign, currently in development, designed to promote cleanliness and responsible environmental practices across the municipality.

Hon. Issah Salifu Taylor’s consistent support underscores his belief that Tarkwa-Nsuaem’s talent pool is rich and capable of influencing change when given the right opportunities. His call for unity and social impact through creativity is a reminder that development thrives where art and community work together.
