NDC scammed us, ORAL was just a campaign message – Miracles Aboagye

A former presidential staffer and New Patriotic Party communicator, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has dismissed the NDC’s ORAL narrative as mere campaign messaging.

“If you are an NDC member stressed over ORAL, find some BP medications and rest. ORAL was a campaign message for votes and nothing else,” he wrote on social media.

According to him, the concept as marketed during the campaign lacked substance from the beginning. “The basis of the so called ORAL sold to you by your party leaders was flawed and made little sense from the get go,” he stated.

He further argued that even current government appointees cannot publicly push for action on ORAL without contradicting themselves. “Ask your favourite appointee to step out and protest for lack of action on so called ORAL. They can’t. If they do, they would entangle themselves,” he said.

Aboagye also referenced comments attributed to the Attorney General, claiming the much talked about allegations were merely “a compilation of hearsays and gossips and nothing more.”

He maintained that public prosecutions are not driven by political pressure. “Ghana isn’t a jungle and no one will be bundled up and thrown into jail to satisfy the ego of a political group,” he added.
