Teen sensation Edmund Baidoo continued his rich run of form in Austria with his ninth goal contribution to lead Red Bull Salzburg to victory against Blaus Weiss Linz.

The 19-year-old sealed victory for the Austrian giants with an audacious strike in the 70th minute as they secured a 2-0 win at the Hoffman Personal Stadion.

The visitors had a good start to the match when Petar Ratkov opened the scoring in the 19th minute.

BW Linz were denied an opportunity to level after a Video Assistant Referee cancelled a 52nd minute penalty call.

Red Bull also had a penalty call denied by VAR moments later before Baidoo scored to ensure victory was wrapped on the road.

Meanwhile, it was Baidoo’s fifth goal of the season to add to his four assists in 15 matches in the league.

Baidoo is reportedly attracting interests from clubs in England ahead of the winter transfer window.
