The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has appealed to the government to urgently consider the rehabilitation of additional roads in her constituency, beyond those already earmarked for repair.

Highlighting the difficulties faced by residents, the MP drew attention to 33 roads across Amenfi Central that are currently in poor condition and require immediate intervention. She explained that these roads are critical to economic activities, education, and the general movement of people within the constituency.

According to Hon. Gyan Cudjoe, the deteriorated state of the roads continues to affect farmers transporting their produce, students commuting to school, and traders conducting daily business. She stressed that improving these road networks would significantly enhance accessibility, stimulate local trade, and promote overall development in the area.

While acknowledging progress made on some approved road projects, the MP emphasized that the infrastructure deficit in Amenfi Central remains a major concern. She therefore urged the government to prioritize the listed roads to help ease transportation challenges and improve the living conditions of residents.
