The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Assembly, Hon. Ebenezer Cobbinah, has extended warm Easter greetings to residents of the municipality and the general public, calling on all to embrace the values of love, unity, and sacrifice during the festive season.
In a press release, the MCE reflected on the significance of Easter, which marks the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, expressing hope that the season will bring renewal, peace, joy, and fulfillment to individuals and families. He emphasized the importance of tolerance and togetherness in fostering strong relationships for the growth and development of the municipality.
Hon. Cobbinah also urged residents to use the occasion to reflect deeply on the virtues of compassion and selflessness, noting that such values are essential for building a harmonious and progressive society.
While wishing everyone a joyful celebration, the MCE cautioned against reckless behavior during the festivities. He advised residents to celebrate in moderation and remain vigilant, stressing that many risks and dangers associated with the season can be avoided through caution and restraint.
With many expected to travel for religious activities and social events, he particularly appealed to the public to prioritize safety on the roads and at gatherings. He encouraged all to act responsibly and ensure they return home safely after the celebrations.
Hon. Ebenezer Cobbinah concluded his message by wishing all residents a peaceful and blessed Easter.
